Zugang zum "ANET_MAN>" Prompt mit vxgdb

  1. Sourcepacket des Gdb in der Version 5.0 besorgen.

  2. Nötige XDR-Routinen für vxgdb, ca. 100 kByte - enthalten z.B. im kostenlosen 62 MByte Evaluationpack des Tornado® Prototyper Plus - besorgen. Ein Solaris- (ab Version 2.5.1) oder Windows-System (ab Version 9x) zum Entpacken der zip-Files in diesem Tarball mittels Installationskey (wird von Wind River bei Download automatisch übersandt) ist hierfür erforderlich. Die Quelltexte der XDR-Routinen von Wind River Inc. unterliegen deren Copyright (u.a. License und Distribution Agreement) und dürfen nicht frei weitergegeben werden.

  3. WDB-Support Patch Version 1.1

    von Till Straumann besorgen.

  4. vxgdb nach Anleitung von Till Straumann compilieren (GNU-Entwicklungswerkzeuge erforderlich, z.B. cygwin bei Windows-Systemen). Kurzfassung:

  5. vxgdb starten, mit ANet-Target verbinden und entsprechendes Bit (Beispiel: ANet4U/Telekom) ändern:

    Die Fehlermeldung zum fehlenden/defekten Symbol-File kann ignoriert werden.

  6. Per telnet 192.168.20.80 mit 23/tcp des ANet verbinden, Login oder Password sind nicht erforderlich.
